Police today said three Bawalis and fishermen were injured as over 100 rounds of gunshots were traded during the two-hour gunfight on the bank of Malancha river.

The gunfight took place when police raided the area to rescue the kidnapped people and the pirates opened fire on them. At one stage the terrorists escaped to the deep forest releasing the abducted.
