May 23 (UNB) – BADC growers in Mithapukur, Pirgacha and Sadar
upazilas produced 900 mts of high yielding variety of wheat seed worth
about Tk 1.8 crore this year.
Some
1,100 acres of land in the upazilas were brought under ‘Kanchan,
Protiva and Akbor’ varieties of wheat by BADC’s 300 listed
farmers.
