Pabna, Mar 18 (UNB) – Seventeen people, including a minor boy, were sued under Public Safety Act (PSA) for allegedly ransacking and damaging a house at village Balughata in Atgharia upazila Tuesday.

But the accused claimed that they were falsely implicated in the case due to previous enmity with the plaintiff Mohammad Ataur Rahman.

Meanwhile, police arrested three of the accused.

The plaintiff in his case alleged that the accused Abdul Karim, Latif, Salam, Moksed, Hanif, Saiful, Munnaf, Alam and Mohsin of the village ransacked his house and looted valuables worth Tk 58,000.

When contacted the officer-in-charge of the local police station said the court would decide whether the case was conspiratorial or not.
