Nilphamari,
Dec 11 (UNB) – Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank has taken up a program
to disburse Tk 420 crore as farm credit among the farmers of 15
districts of the northern region.
RAKUB
sources said of the total, Tk 22.55 crore will be disbursed in
Rajshahi, Tk 22.05 crore in Nilphamari, Tk 14.65 crore in Panchagarh,
Tk 15.95 crore in Thakurgaon, Tk 43.70 crore in Dinajpur, Tk 27.20
crore in Rangpur and Tk 21.10 crore in Lalmonirhat districts.
Besides
Tk 49.85 crore will be disbursed in Bogra, Tk 19.30 crore in Joypurhat,
Tk 25.25 crore in Gaibandha, Tk 17.85 crore in Sirajganj, Tk 32.70
crore in Naogaon, Tk 17.95 crore in Chapainawabganj, Tk 19 crore in
Pabna, Tk 23.70 crore in Natore district.
The
loan is being disbursed in different sectors, including Rabi crops
cultivation, poverty alleviation, and livestock farming and for modern
cultivation system.
RAKUB
has already disbursed Tk 87.23 crore in 15 districts of northern
region in four months since July.
