Naogaon, May 10 (UNB) – Three people were killed and eight others injured in a road mishap at Chourasta crossing in Badalgachi upazila on Sunday morning.

 

Police and witnesses said Abu Bakar, 40, died on the spot and 10 others were injured when a Naogaon-bound bus coming from Nazirpur rammed into the roadside shops when the driver lost its control over the steering.

 

A shopkeeper, Gopal, succumbed to his injuries when he along with five other seriously injured were being taken to Naogaon Sadar Hospital.

 

Later they were rushed to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital following the deterioration of their condition where another victim Dulal also succumbed to his injuries on Monday.

 

All the victims killed in the incident hailed from Badalgachi. A case was filed with the police.
