Mymensingh, July 24 (UNB) – Train services between Mymensingh and Jamalpur returned to normal this (Monday) noon after the removal of a derailed wagon from the tracts near Mintu College.

 

A rescue train from Dhaka rushed to the spot and removed the wagon at about 12 noon.

 

Rail communication between the two districts was disrupted when the bogy of a goods train derailed at Home Signal adjacent to the college on Saturday.

 

An oil tanker of the train also ran off the track spilling out the liquid, which was later looted allegedly by locals.
