Apr 10 (UNB) – Two unnatural deaths - one of a young man and another
of a teenaged housewife - have been reported from Tarakanda thana of
the district.
Rafiqul
Islam, 20, son of Abdul Hye of Majhiali village in Tarakanda thana,
has allegedly committed suicide by taking poison.
Family
sources said Rafiqul took poison Sunday morning (Apr 9) following a
quarrel with his parents. He was rushed to Mymensingh Medical College
Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
A
UD case was filed in this connection with the local thana.
In
another incident, a young housewife was allegedly killed by her
husband and in-laws at Ramchandrapur village in Tarakanda thana on
Friday (Apr 7).
Police
recovered the body of Hajera Khatun, 19, wife of Azizul Haq, from a
road beside their house on Saturday.
A
case was filed in this connection.
