Manikganj,
Aug 5 (UNB)- At least 14 people of a bridal party were injured, six
seriously, in a road mishap this (Saturday) morning here.
Police
and witnesses said the mishap occurred when a speedy goods laden truck
hit the tempo carrying the bridal party at Falsatia area on Dhaka-Aricha
road.
The
seriously injured identified as Abdul Mannan Khan, 45, Asad, 15,
Sanwar Hossain, 20, Mansur Dewan, 70 and Lalmia, 25 were admitted to
the local hospital.
Later
Mansur and Lalmia were sent to Dhaka following the deterioration of
their conditions.
Truck
driver fled the scene along with the vehicle. A case was filed with
the police.
