June 27 (UNB) – A man was killed and five people were injured in
separate incidents of lightning at Alaipur village in Sadar upazila on
Sunday.
Witnesses
said Kauser Mollah, 55, met the tragic end of his life when a streak
of lightning struck him on his way home during rainfall.
In
another incident, Alok, Shipon, Mithun, Sagira of Sripur upazila and
Rongu of Bhaina village suffered injuries by lightning.
