Magura, Apr 25 (UNB) - A clash between two rival groups of people over harvesting paddy at village Amuria in Sadar upazila left a man dead 20 others injured on Sunday.

  

The dead was identified as Kalipad Biswas, 50.

  

Police said the clash took place as supporters of Kestapad Biswas prevented a group of men hired by Dulal Biswas from harvesting paddy from his land in the village.

  

Of the injured, 14 were admitted to Sadar Hospital in critical condition.

    

A case was filed.
