Khagrachhari, July 19 (UNB) – Bangladesh Buddhist Welfare Trust has allocated Tk 18.20 lakh as grant for the uplift of 288 Bouddha Bihar in three hill districts.

 

Bir Bahadur MP disclosed this on Tuesday to the local newsmen. He said Tk 6.01 lakh has been sanctioned for 86 Bihar in Khagrachhari, Tk 6.19 lakh for 98 Bihar in Bandarban and Tk 6 lakh for 104 Bihar in Rangamati.

 

He said an amount of Tk 10 lakh from Prime Minister’s fund was also allocated for three hill districts to celebrate the Bouddha Purnima.
