Jhenidah, June 12 (UNB) – Bureau of Anti-corruption has filed a case against two senior officials of Mobarakganj Sugar Mills for misappropriation of Tk 90,230.

 

They are Deputy General Manager Nawsher Ali and Deputy Manager Shusil Kumar Sinhg.

 

According to the case filed with Kaliganj thana, the two officials while serving as cane development officials (CDO) drew Tk 90,230 from the mill accounts for tree plantation in its area and misappropriated the amount.

 

After investigation, it was found that the officials adjusted the accounts by submitting false papers and vouchers.
