Apr 12 (UNB)- Police sized 510 gram of brown colour heroin and
arrested two persons from a Dhaka bound bus at Khajura bus stand on
Monday night.
Police
said, acting on a tip-off they searched the bus at
10-30
pm and found the heroin under the possession of two passengers Habibur
Rahman and his niece Aklima Khatun alias Inna of village Narayanpur of
Sharsha thana.
The
arrested persons confessed to the police that they were carrying the
heroin of one Ganesh of district 24-parganas of
West Bengal, India, to reach the packet to a party at Gabtali
Bus stand in Dhaka in exchange of Tk1250.
A
case was filed and Habib and Aklima were produced to the court here on
Tuesday.
