May 17 (UNB) – A young girl student suffered serious burn injuries
in an acid attack at village Dakhhin Kaukhali in Porshuram upazila on
Friday night.
Family
Sources said Noor Hossain, Yusuf and Rafiq of the same village hurled
acid on Rina Akter, 14, a student of class IX and daughter of Abul
Bashar while she was chatting with her family members in their
courtyard. She was rushed to the local hospital in a critical
condition.
The
hoodlums committed the heinous crime following her refusal to develop
an illicit affair with them, the sources added.
A
case was filed with the police.
