Faridpur,
Apr 15 (UNB) – Police rescued a person few hours after he was
kidnapped and arrested seven people under Public Security Act on
Thursday.
The
arrested were Shamim, 22, Jewel, 20, Litu, 22, Mintu, 21, Zakir, 20,
Lalon, 22 and Chan Miah Sharif.
Police
said Latif Fakir of Patrail village of Bhanga thana was kidnapped by a
gang at gun point from Judge Court premises when he was talking to his
lawyer in connection with his father murder case.
After
being informed, police conducted a hectic search and rescued Farik
from an under- construction building at Purbo-Khabashpur in the
town.
With
this, two cases were filed under PSA in the district.
