Dhaka, Apr 18 (UNB) – Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the national flag-carrier, has started operating code-sharing flights with Qatar Airways under a commercial agreement.

 

The agreement recently signed between the two airlines facilitates Biman to sale 25 seats and 2000 kg cargo space per flight in Doha-Dhaka-Doha route, operated by Qatar Airways on Monday, Friday and Sunday.

 

Biman is currently operating two flights a week in Dhaka-Doha-Dhaka route on Monday and Friday using own aircraft.

 

Biman General Manager Omar Farooq Malik and Qatar Airways General Manager John Bird signed the commercial agreement on behalf of their respective sides, said a press release.
