Chapainawabganj,
July 9 (UNB) – A court here has sentenced seven people to life term
rigorous imprisonment in a murder case.
The
court also fined them Tk 5,000 each, in default, to suffer six months
RI more.
According
to the prosecution, Arjed Ali and his supporters of Rashia village in
Shibganj upazila killed Khairul, a day labourer of the same village on
August 2, 1993.
After
examining records and witnesses, Additional District and Sessions
Judge Abul Hossain pronounced the judgement on June 19.
